Dr. DawydukDr. Tracy Dawyduk is a clinical psychologist with almost 25 years of experience in assessing and treating children, adolescents, and adults. She believes that collaboration is the relational foundation necessary to helping individuals meet their personal life goals. With training in a variety of treatment approaches, Dr. Dawyduk personalizes care by using the strategies that work for the individual. She considers herself a generalist, and areas of practice include aging, anxiety, adjustment issues, anger management, abuse issues, depression and mood disorders, relationship difficulties, stress management, self-esteem, LGBTQ+ issues, sleep problems, trauma, grief and loss, including survivors of suicide loss.

Dr. Dawyduk received her Psy.D. from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology and completed her internship through Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM). She has experience in a range of settings, including community mental health centers, group homes, residential and inpatient settings, as well as private practice. In addition to doing clinical work, Dr. Dawyduk provides educational workshops to community leaders and professionals in mental health, nursing, medicine, education and law enforcement on topics such as Effective Communication, Coping and Life Satisfaction, Parenting, Depression, Managing Difficult Customers, Motivational Interviewing, and Personality Disorders.

Dr. Dawyduk has a special interest in suicide prevention, and as a faculty member and AMSR Trainer for the Education Development Center, she trains mental health professionals on effectively assessing and managing suicide risk. As a certified QPR Instructor, Dr. Dawyduk also offers free trainings to community groups so they know how to recognize persons at risk for suicide and help them connect to services. She is a Zero Suicide Champion, active member of her local Suicide Prevention Coalition, and she proudly serves as a member of the Postvention Advisory Board for Light After Loss, a local nonprofit traumatic loss center. Dr. Dawyduk is a member of the Ohio Psychological Association and the American Association of Suicidology.
